There are eight (soon to be nine) whisky distilleries on Islay. Those with websites are found at Ardbeg, Bowmore, Bruichladdich, Bunnahabhain, Kilchoman, Laphroaig and Ardnahoe which is due to open in May 2018. Islay Ales at Bridgend is Islay's first micro brewery.
